Awhile back, we started adding the option to get copies of many of the books in our catalog autographed by Dr. Dalton. We were excited to offer this unique opportunity at the low price of just $10, making it accessible for more of our readers to enjoy a special keepsake from their favorite author.
However, it has come to our attention that some of our valued customers may have misunderstood this offering to a small extent. We want to clarify that the autographs provided are, in fact, digital autographs. Each copy indeed features Dr. Dalton's authentic signature, but presented in a digitized format. Due to the print-on-demand manner in which our books are produced and Dr. Dalton's demanding schedule, it's not really practicable at this time, for him to personally sign copies, occasional special circumstances perhaps notwithstanding. Be assured though, that we have gone the extra mile to ensure that the digitized autograph is of such high quality, that at a glance it's not even readily distinguishable from a book would look if he'd personally signed it. It's also worth noting, especially if you're a collector, that when we print your digitally autographed version, the printer actually generates a new and unique barcode for that book. Meaning that your copy is still very much a genuine novelty in every sense of the word, which can still only appreciate in value over time.
We'd also add that we've put a good deal of consideration into what to even charge for these novelty editions, and in light of the fact that many authors charge $20-50 for the same thing, we opted to introduce this option to our readers on the low end of the pricing spectrum.
We appreciate your enthusiasm for our books and your support for Dr. Dalton's work. Our goal is to ensure that you have a clear understanding of what you are receiving. While these digital autographs are a wonderful way to celebrate the connection between the author and readers, we want to make sure that you know they are not personally signed copies.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We are committed to providing you with quality literature and unforgettable and empowering reading experiences, and we hope these digitally autographed editions are prized heirlooms of your library that will be enjoyed by your children and grandchildren as well!
